Nuthatch Construction Ltd designed, manufactured, and built a custom steel-framed agricultural building with a cantilever extension to one side. Our team also carried out all groundworks, ensuring the foundations suited the building’s layout and function.

Project Overview

We built a durable and practical structure to support day-to-day farm operations. The cantilevered section offers extra covered space—ideal for storing machinery or working under shelter.

Cladding & Finishes

We clad the roof with Profile 6 fibre cement sheets, fixing them to cold-rolled steel Z purlins. Fibre cement ridge tiles and barge boards completed the roof and provided weather protection.

For the walls, we used 0.5mm plastisol-coated steel box profile sheets in Juniper Green. We fixed these to cold-rolled cladding rails for a strong and low-maintenance finish.

Drainage & Steelwork

We installed Brett Martin deep-flow gutters on both sides of the building to manage rainwater effectively. All steelwork was hot-dip galvanised to prevent corrosion and extend the building’s lifespan.
