Project Overview

We began by carefully removing the old, leaking roof and outdated guttering system. Once stripped back to the original steel purlins, we installed a brand new roof using 120mm thick insulated composite panels. These high-performance panels not only improved the thermal efficiency of the building but also gave it a clean, modern finish.

Cladding & Finishing Touches

To complete the industrial roof refurbishment, we fitted new plastisol-coated barge boards along with matching internal and external ridge flashings. All tailored to suit the updated roofline. This attention to detail ensured both durability and a consistent, polished appearance.

Guttering Installation

To complement the new roofing system, we installed trimline plastisol-coated gutters along both sides of the building. These modern, hard-wearing gutters were chosen for their durability, low maintenance requirements, and visual consistency with the rest of the refurbishment. By effectively managing rainwater runoff, they help to prevent future water ingress, reduce maintenance issues, and protect the integrity of the building for years to come.

Result

This refurbishment has completely transformed the building. What was once a deteriorating, leaking structure is now a fully weather-tight, energy-efficient space with a professional finish. The updated roof and guttering not only enhance the building’s performance and lifespan but also significantly improve its appearance and usability.
